Where is repaircare based?

Q.Where is repaircare based?

A.“ Repaircare is a division of Connect Distribution Services Limited, the UK's largest distributor and stockist of domestic appliance spare parts whose 42,000 square foot head office is situated in the West Midlands.”

Q.What is included in your fixed price repair?

A.“ The fixed price appliance repair fee covers you against the cost of the call out, evaluation,No Hidden Costs labour & parts (if required), full testing a professional safety check and VAT. The price we quote is the price you pay...”

Q.Do you cover all kitchen appliances and of any age?

A.“ We aim to repair all kitchen appliances, but the manufacturer, appliance type, model and age will have a major influence on whether we can promptly obtain replacement part(s) and ultimately complete the repair.”

Q.Can you repair gas appliances?

A.“ We can repair a wide range of gas appliances including cookers, ovens and hobs. Gas SafeIf you have a gas fuelled kitchen appliance that needs repairing you can rest assured all our gas appliance engineers are highly trained and certified to Gas Safe Standards.”

Q.Can I book over the phone?

A.“ Yes if you would prefer to speak to someone regarding your fixed price repair then please call us on 0844 557 3701.”

Q.What payment methods do you take?

A.“ We accepts most major credit & debit cards.”

Q.If I need a part(s) ordered how long will this take?

A.“ We stock parts for most brands in out national distribution centre and normally within 1 working day of his initial call out our service engineer will order the part(s) and subject to availability we will source this to him within 2 working days. He will then contact you to arrange a suitable date to fit the part(s) and complete the repair.”

Q.How quickly can your service engineer attend my appliance?

A.“ We can arrange for our service engineer to call out on the 2nd working day following your fixed price repair booking. The engineer will visit between the hours of 8am and 6pm. We do not currently conduct repairs at weekends.”

Q.Is the fixed price repair work guaranteed?

A.“ The repair work undertaken is guaranteed for 3 months from the date the job is completed.”

Q.What if your service engineer cannot repair the appliance?

A.“ In the event that your appliance is deemed to be beyond economical repair & / or we are unable to obtain spare parts from our suppliers to repair the appliance we will refund you the original fixed price fee paid less a call out / administration charge of £45.00 (inc vat).”

Q.Do you repair commercial appliances?

A.“ We exclude commercial appliances, domestic appliances installed in commercial premises and appliances situated in caravans or on boats.”
